Default Acer aspire always crashes - USB problem?

Hi, I own an Acer aspire 3022WLMi, and it always crashes, even when I move it around or place it somewhere new. I do not mishandle it, or am rough with it, as careful as I can be and it still crashes.

However, recently, it has just started to crash when I enter any USB device in the middle USB slot. It has always just crashed for moving it before, but now it crashes when I move it AND when I put a device in.

Is there a problem with the slot and is it worth getting fixed, considering the other two slots work? Many thanks, any advice heavily appreciated as it is getting very annoying now!
