Running a HP Pavilion dv6000 from about 2.5 years ago. I'm updating the memory and hard drive, but I think I may have gone overboard and ordered unusable memory. Attached is the image I get from running a system scan at crucial's website[IMG]
[/IMG]The problem is I picked up 2 sticks of 2 gig memory, here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820134605 While I think that'll fit, I guess I just found out my mobo won't support larger than 1 gig sticks or 2 gigs total. Am I correct in assuming I'm screwed, and now have $40 in memory that isn't usable, or is there any chance that it will in fact work? Thanks |
