Default What Do You Think Of The Dell Inspiron 1525?

Hey all I just bought the Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop and was wondering what you all think about this? I bought it for $650.00 and it is to arrive today. This is what it has

There not bad laptops, they will last you a while. I had a 1501 That only lasted me just over a year but I had it running for literally a year, I maybe turned it off 3 times for a 24 hour period and thats it. And all that went wrong on it was the fans. I did the math and I got about 8760 hours out of it.

i barely turn mine off either! although more than you, once or twice a week perhaps, but i do shut the lid so the fans go off at night and when i'm out.. is that not as bad? I've had mine for little over a year (its not a DELL, I was on this topic as my brother might be getting the Inspiron)
