Default Administrative Problems

I have Win XP Pro, and the laptop is in my room, but occasionally other people in the house have to use this computer, so I made a "Guest User" username for that kind of use. Don't ask why I don't enable Guest, it's a long story. So anyway, I am using a wireless internet connection, but on the "Guest User" username, it is disabled. It won't let me enable it so that you can use the internet. Can anyone help?

Hmmm dunno specifically about the Gust account but the "user" class should work... you'll have to do that the long way though

1. Start --> Run
2. Type mmc
3. Press CTRL+M to Add Snap In
4. Press ALT+D to open a list
5. Find Local Users & Group. Click add
6. Click Finish
7. Close
8. Click Ok
9. Now if you look under the groups you'll see a bunch more most noteably the "User" class which will be on the right hand side.
10. Click on the User folder
11. Add a new user. Make a name and password etc set the basic options. Close the window when done
12. Goto the user properties and then to the "Member of" tab
13. By default it should be a part of the User group so you should be done
14. Close MMC, dont need to save anything
15. Account made

Praetor- Thank you, you fixed my problem. But the console intrigued me, I have never seen it before... Can you explain to me what the console does and how to use it?
