Default Best way to pay

What's the best and safest way to get paid if you sell anything on eBay? And how do these things work, I've never done it before

paypal for me, plus it is well integrated into ebay, so you get a smooth payment process.

Ok, yeah I already thought PayPal was good. But then, how does this go? Like for example you want to sell, and you got a deal with someone, you send it to him and then he pays, or he first has to pay and then you send it?

If you have a PayPal account, verify that you recieved the payment and then ship out the item. This is what I have always done.

Personally I use a bank deposit, keep the slip of you sending the money just incase they accuse you of not sending it
