Default weird problem

Alright, this is not a problem i am having so i am going to do the best i can with explaining it...i could not figure it out because it is a weird problem. Here it goes:
There is the main linksyes router and everyone can connect to it in the family, except for one person who when gets on the router get booted off after about 30 seconds and cannot reconnect to the router(it is kicked off completely/the laptop is totally disconnected from router) remind you everyone else the router works fine. This person just got back from college and this problem just started happening, before leaving for school the router worked fine and at school the person had a netgear router that worked fine as well, but now coming back home the person gets kicked after about 30 seconds and then can reconnect(then a continuouse cycle). We have tryed resetting router, and see if there were any updates for both router and laptop. Still same problem....
Any ideas?? Please let me know if you would like me to clearify some things
Thanks
BTW:i asked this question at another forum and nobdy responded so i guess so far nobody can figure it out.

I think it's safe to say that the problem is with the laptop itself. Likely in the software. What software are you using on it to connect to wifi. The WZC or some third party software?

try reinstalling the wireless card in the laptop.

This is how it is (at least on vista, XP shouldnt be much diff)

right click on my computer > manage > device manager > network adapters > right click on wireless adapter and choose uninstall.

**make sure you have the drivers disk or have some way of reinstalling the wireless.**

itll most likely tell you to restart, do that, and then reinstall the wireless card. that should take care of it. if not, well...idk then.
