Can't boot into Windows because BOOTMGR is missing?
I boot up the XP PRO logo just about to come up and something comes up sayin BOOTMGR missing press ctrl alt and del to re-start. I can't access my computer!

Reinstall windows by using the win xp boot disc. Try to avoid formatting as it is not necessary at this point. Your data should still be there if you do a quick reinstall of Win XP.

try doing a repair install instead of a full reinstall
