Smile problems with wireless after installing older OS

Hello,

I have a gateway notebook computer with Windows Vista 64 bit OS installed by the OEM. I work as an X-Ray service technician and much of the service software I run is done in basic MS-DOS. Most of the software is 16 bit or 32 bit and there are no upgrades available for it. I sometimes need to hook up my computer via an old RS232 com port and use the service disks to communicate with the machines. I use a port replicator for this. I have tried installing an older version into a partition on the drive so I can dual boot. Every time I insert the Windows 98 or 2K disk in the drive I get a message saying the setup.exe file is disabled. By the way I already have a primary partition ready to install to. I am seriously thinking about formatting the hard drive and wiping out the useless Vista. I could then install win98 or 2K. I was told that doing this would cause the built in wireless network to stop working. Any suggestions how I can get 2 OS's on here or re-enable the wireless under an older OS? I'm using an older laptop at work that has XP installed on it to do my job but I would like to get this one to do it so I can have a backup in case of computer failure at work. Thanks

No, but I could probably find them on the internet. Or through the OEM.
