The 10,000 rpm drives are definately faster than the 7200 rpm drives. Just depends on what size you want.

What does bare drive mean?

And what is form factor?

Bare drive or bare bones?

Bare drive just means you get the drive itself and nothing else. Bare bones is the case, motherboard, processor usually.

Form factor is like ATX, micro atx, etc. usually refers to cases and motherboards compatible to one another.

Am I correct to assume that the norm is 3.5"?

I am not totally sure what form factor I have hence which harddrive I should purchase.

And would you agree that the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136296 is the best choice out of all three given?

Most definately.

3.5" is used in desktops. 2.5" is used for laptops

All I need for the 4th harddrive is a power cable correct? Screws to mount it? And the SATA cable?
