Default first build, really this time(i hope)

are these parts compatible?

Mobo: Asus M3A78
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
RAM:2gb DDR2 PC 5300 667mhz
HDD: Western Digital 1600AAJS 160gb 8mb cache 7200rpm SATA2
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 2400
Optical: LG 22x Dual Layer DVD writer SATA
OS: Ubuntu/Windows XPHome or Vista Home Basic.Depends if I like Ubuntu.

just a sugesstion
try to wait for some time before u build cuz ddr3 has hit the market and if u have acess to it get one of compitable motherboards supporting ddr3 module...

yes, but why are you posting in this section?

BTW, those are not the most up to date spec.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz
GPU: ATI HD4350
RAM: DDR2 667 and DDR2 800 are at similar price, should get DDR2 800 instead
HDD: Get 16MB Cache if you can

any reason why you are building this PC? budget? Its pretty much inferior :/. Shouldny this be in Desktop section?
