My 9 year old has collected his birthday funds and all he wants is a laptop. Can anyone make a recommendation for a good reliable laptop. Will be used for surfing the net and ocassional DVD watching primarily. Of course he would like a cool color, but I could talk him out of it if it meant getting a better computer.
Looked at a few of these at Bestbuy today and just looking for more opinons or recommendations. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218044029374 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218021916305 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218036213752 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218010578770 |

Thanks, it's a little more money, but I may get him the inspiron listed on the dell homepage for $479. It's a T4200, so better deal. That way he can get at least blue or red also. Now, should I up the config to Home Premium over basic?

I'd do the upgrade to home premium.

I bought my GF a acer for newegg.com for $399, and it's been a great laptop. Too bad they don't offer it anymore because it was model from 2008.

Daisy, I haven't found any other coupons yet, though I don't know if they would accept another one or not anyway. Any links on where else to look? |
