Default how 2 mount5 3 hd in 2 hd mounting chassis?

any suggestions? hp desktop hd chaqssis holds 2 hd's, i have 3. what/where can i do with the 3rd hd? needed for back up...

any suggestions/advice appreciated, as hp doesnt make a 3 bay hd chassis, and offer no support/options/suggestions, thanks

Put it in an optical drive space. You can buy 5 1/4 to 3 1/2 adapters for the purpose.

yeah but be careful with this I have three HD's and there is VERY little space left inside my case I have to have one sitting on the bottom of the case just because I can fit it in any where else

You should be able to fit one in the floppy drive bay as well, assuming your case has a spot for a floppy drive anyway.

no room where floppy would go cause a motherboard plugs in way. got external enclosure, but not too happy.

but it might get to hot if i jam it in there...i was thinking making braket to mount inside case???

or leave in enclosure???

As long as you don't put the bracket in a spot where it will block a lot of airfow it should be fine.

I'd probably just stick with the external enclosure as you've already got it.
