we have several Dell Laptop computers in our home. One is an Inspiron 8600, Latitude D430, and a Vostro 1510. My husband uses the power cords interchangebly on them all since they fit into the same size hole. The Inspiron routinely overheats. Could the plugs be causing the problem? Sounds like a stupid question but I would appreciate some opinions since I am trying to convince him that this may damage our computers. I am not sure what the voltage on the cords is.
