I was going to build an i7 computer, and I always hear this is the best ram and so I was feeling good about getting it, but now I took another look at the motherboard I want (Gigabyte x58 extreme) http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Moth...A-EX58-EXTREME and for the ram it says "Supports 3 channel DDR3 2100+ memory by 6 DIMMs "...and the RAM I was looking at is only 1600....so that got me kinda worried...should I try to get 2100 ram? ..I cant find any 6gb 2100/2000 kits so for 6gb I would have to get 2x3gb kits which would drive up the cost a little and also leave no room for further expansion-except if I was to completely redo the ram(buy a new kit)... |
