Default External 1 TB HD compatibility

Hi Everyone,

I have a Gigabyte GA-VM800PMC motherboard and want to get an external 1 TB hard drive. Naturally, I'd like to have the fastest transfer speed possible. Like, eSata compatibility. So, I was wondering if my motherboard supports eSata? I have tried googling it to see if it will supprt it, but wasn't really sure =[ any advice/tips ?

Thanks =]

Maestro.
