Default Dual monitor with TV output card?

Hey guys,

New to this site and am looking to do some modification to my computer. I am really into photoshop and photography. I am wanting to do a dual monitor thing so I can keep my photos open on one screen and use photoshop in the other screen. That was I don't have to keep minimzing folders and such. I'm not really a big gamer so I don't need a card that can handle heavy gaming. Just something that shows crisp and clear images on dual monitors.

My other question is that where I have my computer, there is a cable jack for TV. I was wondering if it would be possible in the dual monitor setup, have one monitor be able to switch to a TV mode. So ideally have one monitor running TV and the other showing the desktop. Then when I am done with the TV part, switch back to the dual monitor desktop idea.

If you guys could offer some advice on a video card, that'd be great. I tried searching and got a lot of results of dual monitors, but nothing with a TV input as well.

Thanks,
Mike

What is you budget to the graphics card, and do you have a card in place at the moment?

Pretty much all cards now have a VGA out and DVI out. So most modern card will support dual monitor

While you can have a TV/CRT setup, the TV will be essentially limited to 800x600 -- not a lot of room for photos and stuff. You might consider a PCI videocard or an entirely new one with dual outputs (of course then you'd need another monitor)
