so as far as price im better off going with an AGP card? and its the same quality?

Yes AGP and PCIe will have the same image quality for the same graphics core. Price wise, AGP is still a little cheaper for most cards but that will change, everything is moving to PCIe

well say i got an AGP mobo. will they still be making AGP cards or are they going to stop?

I suspect this will be the last (or 2nd last) generation of cards that are available in AGP

Not when you specified your system originally you didnt. Regardless, if you're buying a new system, you might as well shift over to PCIE
