What kind of performance increases can you expect to see with only changing the FSB then? I have an intel P4 2.8Ghz

The best way to O/C is to adjust the FSB. If the multipliers are unlocked (or at least unlocked down), you might want to lower the multiplier, and then raise the FSB, as long as your ram can handle it. That's when you'll see the real change, is when you change the FSB.
