Default Ram limits for XP an vista 32 & 64 bit OS

Ok Im writing this because im sick of ppl asking the same question over and over so this is the ram limits for XP an vista 32 & 64 bit OS

A 32 bit OS can only use 4GB of memory total, that means if you have 4GB of ram and your graphic card has 1GB of ram, you have a total of 5GB of memory.
Out of that 5GB of memory, you can only use 4GB total. 1GB the graphic card will take up, so now the 32bit OS can only use 3GB.

Windows XP 32bit all editions = 4G
Windows XP 64bit all editions = 128G

Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit = 4G
Windows Vista Home Basic 64bit = 8G

Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit = 4G
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit = 16G

Windows Vista Business 32bit = 4G
Windows Vista Business 64bit = 128G

Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit = 4G
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit = 128G

Its not 3.33gb on 32bit. Who told you that?

It can see 4gbs.

If you have 4gbs. installed, taking away memory adresses for your video card/s and other board devices it can be anywhere from less than 3gbs. to almost 4gbs. of systems memory installed available.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
