Help With FTP Programm

any1 familiar with FTP programms i am using BulletProof FTP but i have problems i cant run it :/ i dont know what to give to the others to connect to my ftp...
i know is ftp://myip:21 but it doesnt work

i dont know any1 to help ? or even better leave ur msn address for better chating

COME OON HELP ME OUT i used many ftp server programms but none i couldnt work it ..... i just make an account ... for anonymour access choose a folder directory adn IT DOESNT WORK :@:@:@:@ y ???????????????????

do you have the ftp server up and running on the machine your trying to connect to. Are you sure that the server is configured to allow annonymous access?

Yes its up and running and am sure about the anonymous ,, but i also tried with username and pass too..... i asked some people to test it and i can see that their connecting and i can see their ip but they get an error msg and nothing else

do you have a firewall or router in place, you will need to open / forward port 21 repectively.

Yeah I talked to honda and he's behind a router. That is why it may not work properly.
