Default Partition hard drive.

The laptop I own is just like this one.

I have hard time to partition the hard drive, I do have Magic partition V9 but still not work. Help anyone?

Just use the install cd from whatever OS you are installing.

No, what I want to do is spit my hard drive, right now there is only C drive and I make another drive so that can save infornation.... so I can reinstall C without touch informaiton in D drive....

Download a copy of the Ubuntu OS and burn it to a disk.

You will be able to boot the OS without installing it.

Live Boot the OS from the CD and click on "System, Administration, Partition Editor".

You'll be able to resize and create a partition.

BE CAREFUL. You could easily wipe out your OS.
