-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813152052 dont kno about the chipset on that one -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130469 is it better if it has the pci express and no agp? i heard that it was faster than the agp slot.. also is the performance increase from the +3000 939 to the +3200, that great? worth the extra bucks? there only 20USD apart... |

If you want to go PCI-E and keep the budget low I would recommend this MSI nforce 4 motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130491 MSI a good company and the nforce 4 chipset alot better then a via chipset. I dont know if $104 more then you want to spend but if it not to much then a decent option if you want AGP is. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128263 There a MSI nforce 3 ultra also that would be idear but that cost $130 and you would proberly be fine with the gigibyte. PCI-E VS AGP really does not make a big difference right now. PCI-E will replace AGP completly some place in the future thoe most likly. Just make sure you get a motherboard that matches the one you choose.

ULi is generally not a North American available chipset and it was/is designed to be a budget oreinted competitor to the NF4. Ive not yet gotten my hands on a ULi board (will have a few in August) but assuming they are well constructed they are better than Via based board IMO. What;s your budget?
