Question Laptop bios flashing from the dead

Hello
several months ago i was informed by the toshiba website that my bios should be updated this is with a satelite a210 i proceeded as per the instuctions (plug laptop in close all running programs etc etc ) and ran the bios update program

in the middle of the program running and updating my bios the laptop overheated and turned off and would not turn back on

out of curiosity i was wondering if anyone knew of a way that i might be able to flash the laptops bios in the state that its in

from observation i know when the power is turned on that the cdrom drive seeks and looks for a cd

anyone have any thoughts on this ?

Generally it's a very bad thing to interrupt the BIOS when flashing it.

It may be toast.

If you can't get the laptop to post then its toast. You need to send it in to have the bios chip replaced.

Contact Toshiba, they might have a repair utility available.
Don't look good though. flashing can be risky when something goes wrong.
