Default Hard drive always running

The title says it all. This is a new machine (Compaq Presario SR5710), which comes with Vista. I put in a new HD and loaded XP. The HD is constantly being accessed, with the LED typically flashing once or twice per second. As you can see from the HJT log below, I don't have much going on.

O23 - Service: IDriveE Service is an online backup service. I had it on my old (Win2k) machine, and it didn't cause any problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
