Default Reformatting HD

The hard drive on the computer I am talking about has a Windows 98 operating system on it. The hard drive is so full of viruses that it will freeze right when it starts to load Windows. How should I go about reformatting it?

Thanks.

With a floppy boot disk; have a look at http://www.bootdisk.com/ ... pop it in and format the disks
