Default borken CD

yeah....i accidentally steped on a CD and it snapped in half......is there anything i can do to "repair" it?

No freaking way. The only way to recover some data.... is to go to specialist companies which specialize in data recovery. They could save some (NOT ALL) data on the CD if it is of great value to you. Those are very expensive services however.

They might send you a replacement disc for a fee, very few (if any at all) will for free

the best ya can do it, is give it a decent burial...
or use it as a tea coaster.
its done for, ive lost a good many cds cos they got broken. one time my ms office cd broke cos i sat on it :-(
