Default Memory compatible with mobo?

would I have a problem putting this memory

in this mobo

The Memory Standard is DDR2 1333 OC. This is the minimum right? You can always put in more with increased performance correct? Sorry, this is my first build and I wanna make sure its all gonna work.

ive never heard of putting ddr2 in a ddr3 mobo

You mean the other way around? Its ddr3 memory going into a dd2 mobo. Thanks in advance

No it will not work...you could not pound it in with a hammer(well maybe). That motherboard supports DDR2 ram only.

ide think theres a big price difference too ive herd some one putting ddr into a ddr2 mobo not sure if it was tru but never ddr3 into ddr2 mobo.

Nope, if you want to use DDR3 this is the same board but DDR3

You do know that only AM3 processors will work on DDR3 boards.
