Default --READ VERY IMPORTANT-- Windows Installation Problem!

Guys this is VERY IMPORTANT. I have a computer. It came with Windows XP Evaluation Version as I didn't want Windows Vista. Then the 30 days passed and it didn't work, so I bought Vista Home Premium. Vista worked nicely until some viruses got in and it got messed up. So a friend was offerig me his Windows XP Professional for 10 $ so I bought it. I installed XP again but the funny thing is that it didn't recognize either my video card or my sound card. So I bought Windows Vista Ultimate to get out of any trouble and stop spending money. I installed it, but today I tried to install XP (not professional, one that I borrowed from my friend). I installed at D Hard Disk, but now that Vista is in C, only XP works. Now here is the real problem. I tried to re-install Vista, but when I put my CD it says "This file may be corrupted or damaged. The header checksum des not match the computer checksum". What do I doo?

I cant tell you what to do untill you make up your mind what the hell OS you want on it. If you bought Vista Premium why did you buy Ultimate. If you got a Virus with Premium why did you not just reinstall it. Plus your Video card and Sound card just needed drivers installed. Now your trying to put XP back on it? You need to make your mind up on what you really want!

Well, as XP doesn't recognize my video card or my sound driver, I go for Vista. I have Vista Ultimate CD in and when I press F8 for boot menu and select CD/DVD it says "This file may be corrup.t The header checksum does not match the computer checksum" and then I have to restart.

If it doesn't recognize it right off the bat, you have to go and download it off line, then install it.

Google it.

Just burn the iso to a cd and boot from cd like you would install an OS. It walks you through completely formatting your hard drive, its very easy. Just delete any and all partitions then do a fresh install of your choice OS.

This assumes you have nothing to save on the hard drive though too, it wipes EVERYTHING off of it.

So... I Google that program, burn the ISO to a CD and boot it from CD just like i would install a OS...It'll format all of my computer. I delete C, D and E, and finally I install windows Vista normally. Am I right?
