I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if not sorry! I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem with Hotmail. Yes, I said Hotmail...no one laugh at me. The problem I am having is this-yesterday I signed into my account, I read one letter and then forwarded it on (contained no attachments, just a regular letter), I then went back to my mail and got the next letter (from the same person, no attachments) and tried to forward it. At that point it took me to a screen that had the box with "type the characters" on it, I did and it then took me back to sign in. From there it was a game of back and forth-sign in to the "type the characters" screen. It is still the same today. What I have found out is that I am still signed into that account and cannot get signed out, I can access My MSN and other pages for that account but not my inbox. I signed up for another account and I was able to access it all night and today, but now it is telling me that the password is incorrect. I also tried to re-set the password to that account and it is telling me the answer to my secret question is wrong. I have deleted all cookies, and also passwords...infact I worked with a tech from MSN and he couldn't figure it out either, his suggestion was that it was on Hotmail and I needed to contact them. All I really want to do is get into my original account, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I have sent a few e-mails to Hotmail, but as of right now haven't heard anything.

have you tried using a mail program like outlook express or thunderbird?
