If you have integrated sound then pop your motherboard driver disc in to install them.

If you have a sound card then again it would have come with a driver CD. If you haven't any of these then download something like "PC Wizard", this will give you all the info needed to do a search with google for them.

Bill, assuming you have integrated graphics. Run PC Wizard and under Hardware/System Summary the screen should tell you what make of Mainboard you have.
As an example "Mainboard : Gigabyte 945P-S3"
Google "gigabyte 945P-S3 drivers" which should give you the option of the manufacturers site where you can download them.

What motherboard does PC Wizard say you have? Or if its not onboard sound what sound card does it say you have.

I think sometimes you have to go into BIOS and integrated peripherals might be turned off for audio. I know that it happens when you add a sound card to your pc. Try that if what TFT posted up doesn't work.
