Exclamation Driver problem

Hey everyone!
Here is my problem: my iPhone keeps crashing my PC (BSOD) when I plug it in. I isolated the problem to the camera roll; when there are pictures inside it, the PC BSODs. The problem stems from my Logitech Quickcam driver, which is outdated. The new version apparently fixes the problem. Easy to fix, right? Well, no.

I downloaded the latest Quickcam driver off of Logitech's website, but it comes as an exe, not as the usual driver file format. I install it nonetheless, but it doesn't detect my webcam. Even if I uninstall the Webcam in Devices Manager, and then replug the webcam in, it automatically installs the outdated driver file, which must still be on my PC. If I try to update the driver from the Devices Manager, it doesn't find any more recent driver for it, despite the latest Quickcam software being installed. So how can I update the driver? I would need the .inf driver file.
