Programs, Sites you recommend for tweaking windows

What sites or programs do you recommend or use to make Windows Xp more efficient, safe ect... Just wanted to make a thread where we can all share info and help each other out.

For the net and to keep my computer safe from invaders (spyware) i use Ad-aware 6.0, Spybot search and destroy and Spyware Blaster in conjunction with it to protect IE.

I use mscongfig (start>>run>>> msconfig>>>startup) to remove programs that start up and steal precious memory. This site http://www.sysinfo.org/startupinfo.html has proved itself very useful in recommending which programs are not needed and can be disabled.

For tweaking Win XP I use this site http://www.blackviper.com/index.html to disable or manually set and services i dont use through (Start>>>run>>>services.msc). http://www.pcworld.com/ is also a very good site and gives many tips and tricks to enhance windows performance.

what are those??? I only know Ghost.
