Some of you may read my past problem, which was overcoming administrator passwords on a used laptop that I purchased. Well, I have solved that problem, but now have a new one. I got a Dell Latitude D505 and tried to reinstall Windows XP on it, but when it gets to the registering components portion of the installation I get an error message that it cannot do something. I just want to be able to use this computer!! Does anyone know what I should do from this point? When I start it up it just continues trying to install, but won't. I can't even seem to cancel installation. Does anyone know where I can get a recovery disk for this model? Please help!! Thanks!!
