Default Socket 462 and Socket A?????

ok i need a new cpu cooler. Socket A is for AMD athlon cpu's but on my motherboard manual its got a Socket 462, there arent many good coolers for socket 462 but there are plenty of good ones for socket A, if i bought a socket A cooler would it fit onto my 462 socket. Or wud i ahve to buy a socket 462 cooler?

If you decide to go with the Zalman, just make sure it'll fit. It's huge and very heavy.
