hi, I work from home and have gone through 5 laptops, all rubbish. i have an Acer TravelMate 2200 (so slow it takes 10 minutes to go online or go to a new site even with broadband), and need to go to the store to replace this. does anyone know how I can make this one quick (is Scandisk a good option - I haven't used this but read about it - the Norton Antivirus seems to pop up when it is very slow) or if I swap, please could someone give me the answer to which is the best - I am fed up of buying dud laptops from sales staff! thanks!

order the restore disks from Acer, (prob 30$), then format/restore the system. (Good advise to all that by computers from unscrupulous salesmen, that usually don't know how to click a mouse).
