Default MS-7366 (medion pc) upgrade to Core 2 Quad E9650

Hello,

New to the forum. I have a question about my msi motherboard. I have one of the famous aldi-pc's (Yes, I like sarcasm... ) Its medion brand and the motherboard is from msi (OEM version for medion). Ill post all specs below, first, my question: I'd like to upgrade to a intel core 2 quad e9650:

see here: https://maxict.nl/product/503210/Int...in&rs=tweakers

Factorycode: BX80569Q9650

I was wondering wether I could run this core using my motherboard and I came across a very nice list:

http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/P6...(MS-7366).html

Now, my problem: It says using bios 1.3 it was not tested. Using a bios called 7366v14.zip was tested and works. So I might have to install a new bios to my rig. Now I know a lot about pc's, but I've never messed with bios stuff. Perhaps somebody could help me and look into this?

My specs:

Motherboard: MS-7366
Socket type: LGA775
System bios: 64-0100-000001-00101111-120707-MCP73
Chipset: MSI 07C7h
Bus: Intel AGTL+
Max. FSB speed: 1.33GHz
Current CPU: Intel core 2 duo E6750 2,67Ghz
Memory: 2x2GB DIMM DDR2-666 PC2-5300U
Graphicscard: ATI RADEON HD4870 1gb ddr5 (club3d oc)
PSU: 650W Corsair

More info about my motherboard:

So what my question boils down to is: Whether or not the quad core is compatible to my motherboard, whether or not I have to update my bios, and if yes, then how that would work?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Cheers,
Maik

ps. my pci-e version is 1.0. Currently, that is no problem. But using a heavier core, might the lack of brandwith become a problem?
