File Manager

Hi! Explorer sucks because it takes so much on memory! I have never found a replacement though. I want an active bar so I can minimize my programs and open thyem again without usinig the active task manager. And Í want a thing that is down on the right on normal computers. Like MSN and zone alarm. I maybe describes it pretty stupid but that is cause my english sucks. But anyway, if u have a tip of a good file manager, please, write back
