View Single Post - Static sound, possibly causes music to skip

I haven't really had a problem with this until after I moved, when I had to set up (plug in) my computer again. Even with no windows open, there is a faint, static, scratchy kind of sound. This wouldn't be so bad, but I'm wondering if it's affecting my music players. Any kind of player I use, any kind of song, when it plays music, it will skip pretty frequently. Anyone care to clue me in? If you need more info, just ask... I'm not sure what you need to know.
