Question Printer problems

I have a lexmark P4350 printer and I have had it since 2007 and for about the last 4 months, it is not sucking in the paper and always jamming up. When i clear the jam and I confirm on the printer, it turns itself of instantly. My print cartridges are completely empty. I tried printing with it to get the last bit of ink out and it was making noises when it was printing that didnt sound normal. Sounded like something was wrong inside. Any help?

Try cleaning the feed rollers if you can get to them with alcohol and a qtip. If the printer is making noise then its possible its broke.
