I am relpacing a Dell XPS M1530 that I received refurbished when Dell replaced another refurbished computer, I have had the XPS M1530 totally refurbished by Dell three times so I decided to get rid of it rather than have to hassel with Dell and have them send me yet another reburbished laptop.
![]() I am wondering what brand of laptop would be good to replace it with, ie: HP, Compaq, Lenovo, Acer, ect. I will have only about $550 to spend on something new, no more refurbished machines ever. ![]() ![]() I would appreciate any help that I can get. |

lenovo is a good company if you want quality work while not opening up the wallet too much. If u can stretch that too a round 600 you can look at a few better laptops
Check out these: 500$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834146534 600$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834146536 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834146540

From my experience what I would suggest is dont go for Acer. It is for school children. I would prefer going for HP. The budget is little tight, but then you will get some good features compared to your old ones....

What ever you do don't get Acer I got one last September and it just broke 2 days ago a sold it for $60 on craigslist. My sister has a Dell laptop and I really like it go with Dell or HP also look on newegg to see what they have. Yes your router will work with any laptop you get with a built in card. I use a Wireless N router but have a Wireless G network adaptor.

I will not deal with Dell ever again, I have had too many problems with their products and I got tied of talking to everyone in India when I called tech support.
