Default need help looking for a laptop

im getting a laptop for my birthday and I need abit of help finding one.

I'm looking for a laptop with:
15" screen or bigger
3gb ram
250gb hard drive
and a web cam

I seen this one
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...s|12108673.htm

The reviews on the argos website look good, but I couldn't find any more.
and ive looked at a few 17" laptops and they don't have big enough ram or hard drive or dont have a web cam

Realy im looking to pay about £400 or just over but not majorly

What do you think of this laptop does anyone have it who can give me a review or do you know of any other laptops with the things i want with about the same price range?

cheers

Hi Antere07

I think if you could stretch just a little to nearer £480 for your laptop it would be worth your while. However, check out a comaprison site in the meantime - alatest.co.uk/?gclid=CPaD1pL...3godplaMdg&nr=1. You can sort the results by the factor that is most meaningful to you in your choice of laptop such as price, user review and expert reviews.

It's only too big if someone needs easy portability.

if you want any good specs your going to have to deal with a thirteen inch or maybe even a 15 inch screen. For 400 euros? 400 euros translates to 600 bucks which will get u a pretty decent laptop. I would not recommend gaming on the laptop except for a few old games.

Well what will you be doing on the laptop? What country you live in. If possible i think u can buy from America. Your 400 euros will get u a six hundred dollar laptop. The one you showed is really bad. Bad processor speed, battery life, etc.

Look at the processor. Pretty weak, IMO. The Acer Rawlaw mentioned looks like a much better value.
