Default Laptop getting heated...

I work solid 6 to 10 hours a day in my laptop continuously. What happens is when I shut down in night, it takes lot of period to shut down. Then there is lot of heat coming in. It atleast takes 2 hours for the heat to go off before I keep it in my shelf.

Is this the same condition with respect to all of you guys?

No, it sounds like your laptop has some serious problems. Mine cools off after about 15 seconds of being turned off.

Well, it sounds somewhat normal in the aspect the fans arent running after its off, and the enclosure of the notebook has absorbed some of that heat.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
