Default need help computer died out

last night i was on my laptop i got mad and slammed my hands done on it and it immediately shut off. when i tried to restart it the tosihibi sign comes up like normal but then a cursor comes up and then the screen goes black and does nothing but the lights come on showing that it is trying to do something. if anyone can help me i would like any input on what is wrong so i can get this thing fixed. thanks in advanced guys.

Hello,

Sounds like you have knocked something lose, either memory or video card.
I suggest taking it to an expert or you can attempt to open it up and make sure nothing is lose.
