Why get an audigy 2 when...

you can get about the same performance from a Chaintech card. look at this

when you compare it to the 2nd augigy, sure it doesnt have a midi or firewire, but it is $50 cheaper.

any arguments?

Their not the same. Chaintech also dosn't have EAX which I find is one of the best parts of the audigy's

Also the Audigy 2 ZS does all the audio proccessing on its SPU which takes a load off the CPU for most games and whatnot.
