ram kits

I hav a 2g stick of ram in my laptop and I have a 2g kit. Can i use one of the sticks from the kit with the ram i have installed allready?

You can but if you bought a kit and have 2 anyway why not put both in?

Yeah really if you spent the money to get a kit why not just install all the ram that came with it
