Hey, so i just a simple question here. i currently have 3 x 500 GB's in Raid 0. (2 WD and one SG) i need more space, and wouldn't mind more speed
.i dont know if i should: buy 3 more 500GB WD/SG 16MB buffer to make it 6 x 500 GB in RAID 0 $60.00 or buy 2-3 1TB WB/SG 32Buffer for 3x 500GB and 2-3 1TB in RAID 0 $100.00 im not too sure, but im thinking the 6x 500GB is going to be faster then if i put some 1TBS in, even though the RPM and Cach is the the same. |

Since you are running a raid 0, more drives will be faster assuming you are doing something that raid 0 is good at otherwise the 1TB drives are better (fewer drives = less chance for failure).
