Default USB Pen drive problem

Hello to all learned gentleman,

I am facing a strange problem with my 8GB (Transcend) pen drive. It shows only 150 MB as a free space. While currently it occupies only about 4GB matter. Where the remaining around 3.5GB space has gone? Yesterday I had tried to speed up my PC using it in windows vista ultimate edition. Since then I am facing this problem. What is the reason? What should I do?
There are no hidden files in my pen drive. I tried it at another computer, but the problem remains same.

I'd guess you used "Readyboost" and allocated a paging file to the pen drive.
