I have a bose surround sound home theater system, but I don't want to take it away from my tv and xbox, so I was looking into surround sound headphones so I don't have to have another theater system in my small barracks room.
Any suggestions? |

For my 360 and Apple TV, when I don't want to use my surround sound speakers, I use the AX360s, I honestly can't tell a difference from the two.
They're a bit pricey, but worth it, and the support it great. The microphone clip broke, and the company replaced the whole unit. http://www.trittontechnologies.com/p...s/TRIGA600.htm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826235001

Surround sound for headphones isnt as good as it is for speakers, since it goes right on your ears, personally I hated "surround sound headphones" and just went with a decent pair of regular headphones, Sennheiser makes some good (and cheap) ones

I have the Bose over the ear headphones, and they are really nice, little expensive but worth it.

I'm pretty sure there's also an option in your sound card software to enable virtual home theater for any headset. I have the TekNMotion Pulsewave headset, it has virtual 7.1 surround sound built into it's own software, and it's only $45. It's pretty comfortable if you don't wear glasses.
