Default Replace Vista with XP?

I want to replace my vista (which is an utter piece of s**t mind you) with Windows Xp. I did a small amount of research and I looked up if it would actually work.

I have a toshiba laptop and I got mixed answers on if it is possible to replace or not (oh god, please tell me I'm not stuck with this piece of crap D. My computer came with vista already installed. I can't stand it, I currently am attending a anonymous self help group for vista users who have been raped and beaten by its shitty programming..lol.
PLEASE help me. Tell me if it would work and if not, and if not - please tell me why?

My model is: Toshiba Satellie L300 -07N ? I think, I'm just reading under the computer. Hah, I'm so useless D: D: D: Sorry I'm such a retard when it comes to comps, probably so easy! hkusbfe

well first of all u need to do some research and see if there are any xp drivers for you laptop model, if there are then yes you can install a fresh copy of xp on and then install the xp drivers for your laptop and all should be well.

How much memory do you have? Windows XP could probably be installed, but vista is a decent os as long as you have at least 2gb of memory.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules, Know them so you dont break them:)
