Default CPU Heating up

Recently my processor has been running really hot.It used to idle around 34 degress, and never get over 45, but lately its been ideling around 38-45, and gets up to 60, and then starts beeping, even when doing simple stuff, like running a cd, streaming a video off the internet, playing games. I dont konw what happened, hopefully some of you can help me figure out what the problem is. right now, im using firefox, and its at 45. So its hotter then it used to be normally. I am planning to buy a water cooler, and im sure that will help, but something still isnt right. Anyway, all I have to cool it down is the stock fan, but thats always worked until lately. Thanks for your help.

Hmm...maybe your thermal paste is getting a bit old? Couldn't hurt to put some freash paste on there.

Ill try some new thermal paste, but how long should that stuff last, ive only had my computer for about 6 months or so. The fans are all working properly, the CPU fans running around 3200 rpm, and i have something like 12 other fans in my computer that are all working, and I dont really have an option of where I put my computer, because Im crammed in my room already, and I only have this one corner for my desk, but thanks for the responses. Ill let you know soon if the thermal paste worked.

How warm does your room get? No matter how many fans you may have in your system, they won't help unless there's cool air being passed through.

It stays cool, not cold and not hot. I hate being in hot rooms, so I definatly dont let it get exceedingly hot, thanks though

Oh, my...12+ fans recirculating hot air is worst than two fans: one getting fresh air in an one getting hot air out plus the psu fan.

If you apply it well ... 2-5years. If you dont apply it properly ... any amount of time

Uh..... from the first part of that statement we know/assume the ambient air is hot. As such, in the second part, having two fans circulating hot air vs 12 fans circulating hot air ........

Well I got it fixed now. All I did was clean out the dust in my computer, so if any of you are having a problem, try that out. It worked for me.
